Zambian President Edgar Lungu wants the U.S. ambassador to leave the country after the diplomat criticized the African state for sentencing a gay couple to 15 years behind bars for having a consensual relationship.
“We have complained officially to the American government, and we are waiting for their response because we don’t want such people in our midst,” Lungu said Sunday in comments broadcast on state-owned ZNBC TV. “We want him gone.”
U.S. Ambassador Daniel Foote said last month that he was “personally horrified” after the high court sentenced the two men and called on the government to reconsider laws that punish minority groups. The move was particularly disturbing as “government officials can steal millions of public dollars without prosecution,” Foote said.
The U.S. provides $500 million in aid to Zambia yearly, according to Foote.
“We are saying no to homosexuality,” Lungu said in comments broadcast by Sky News earlier this month. “When you are tying it to aid, if that is how you are going to bring your aid, then I’m afraid the west can leave us alone in our poverty. And we’ll continue scrounging and struggling.”
The State Department didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

No wonder US is having enemies around d world -Iran, Turkey, Rusia, China, NKorea etc & these are d most powerful countries in d world facing US, also US is having their internal problem, shooting & killing every day bcos God allowed them for freedom of fire arms possesion.
Infact, d only thing that sustain US now is bcos they bless & support Israel, God has promised to bless those that blessed Israel, & cursed those who cursed them, that’s why US is rich -Read.Gen.12;1-3, Ps.89;20-29.

I wonder all this nonsence from US Govt.
* Can US prove or show us just a single person out of all their millions population that was born of same genda ?
* Can US prove a gay genda which a woman impregnated another woman & born live, or a man impregnated a fellow man & born a living human being among US population ?
* If no one, would there be US today if their fore father 2000.yrs ago were all gay & practiced same genda ?
Any body that support same sex genda (homesexual) must be very very mad & foolish & deserved to live inside tick forest like Nebuchadnezer, except he/she was born out of same sex genda. Nonsence.
