DREAM THEATER To Release New Album In February 2019

During a recent interview with Metal Wani, Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess has shared the details of their upcoming album.

He said that the new album will be released in February 2019. What fans should expect from new Dream Theater album, Jordan Rudess stated:

“Right now, we’re mixing it. It’s being mixed as we speak. It sounds awesome. I’m so excited about it. There’s a very, very strong energy around the band these days. We all feel very connected and excited about what’s coming.

We can’t wait to unleash the whole thing on everybody. And that’s all gonna happen really, really soon as well; it’s just right around the corner.”

Dream Theater’s latest album “The Astonishing” was released in 2016 via Roadrunner Records.

Back in June 2018, guitarist John Petrucci spoke about the new album and said:

“The five pillars of DT. [Laughs] I think everyone’s on the same page with the type of record this is going to be. So far, the music is heavy, it’s progressive, it’s melodic, shredding, and it’s also epic – the five pillars of Dream Theater.“
