'Bigg Boss 12' November 16, Written Update: Housemates get upset with Shivashish as they all get nominated for evictions

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 12 begins with the housemates waking up to the tunes of Sanam Teri Kasam title track Kitne Bhi Tu Kar Le Sitam on Day 61 at 8 am. The housemates don’t feel like leaving their bed. Romil Chaudhary tries to wake everyone up. Sreesanth refuses to get up. Romil comes to him and asks him not to sleep. Sree says that he’s not well and asks him to leave him alone and let him sleep. Meanwhile, Shivashish Mishra continues sleeping, so the alarm of a dog’s bark goes once again.

In the garden area, Jasleen Matharu and Karanvir Bohra are discussing the way Romil woke up everyone else in the morning. Sree and Surbhi Rana are also discussing the same. Surbhi says she’s not taking Romil’s side, but tries to tell him that Romil was waking him up in a friendly way.

At 2 pm, Rohit Suchanti writes a ‘sorry’ note with nail paint, for Srishty and keeps it on her bed. Srishty Rode melts a little on reading it but doesn't show it to Rohit. She goes in the garden area and Rohit comes to her and says sorry again. Srishty says it’s ok but she’s still miffed with him. Rohit requests her to speak to him. They sit inside and sort out their differences.

At 2:15 pm, Dipika Kakar reads out a letter from Bigg Boss. She announces that Romil has to pick three contestants to send to kaalkothri. Romil has three tickets which he has to give to the contestant whom he selects for punishment. There will be three gongs that will be played at intervals. Romil has to announce the name of one contestant to be sent to jail after each gong. Post that, the rest of the housemates can try to convince Romil of whom to send to the kaalkothri, but the final decision will remain with Romil.

At 2:30 pm: Jasleen tells Romil that Sree, KV, Deepak Thakur and Megha Dhade should be the ones to be considered for the jail punishment. In the house, Deepak tells Rohit that Megha should be sent to jail. Romil tells KV that he wants to send KV to jail because it was because of KV that a person who wasn’t at fault (Sreesanth) had to bear Bigg Boss’ punishment of washing utensils. KV tells him why Sree should be sent instead. KV also names Surbhi for the jail punishment.

Deepak tells Romil that his first name is Megha and second one is Sreesanth. KV tells Dipika and others that he won’t go to jail if Romil takes his name. Romil comes to the bedroom and tells Sree that most of the contestants are taking his name for the punishment. Romil tells Shiv that his name has been taken by the housemates.

When Romil once again goes to Sree to convey that housemates feel he should be sent to jail because he repeats the same mistakes for which he’s been sent to jail in the past. Sree gives his names to Romil – Megha, KV and Rohit and asks him who all took his name. Romil tells him Jasleen too took his name. Hearing this, Sree adds Jasleen’s name as his fourth name.

The first gong goes, and Romil takes Megha’s name. He says that she doesn’t realise what all things she ends up saying in her aggression. He also points out the incident when she threatened to throw his shoes at Deepak in the last episode. Megha takes the ticket but goes on to try to defend herself. Megha says even Surbhi and Deepak break so many rules and if these two don’t come to jail for breaking rules and using abusive words, then she will come out and break all the rules. Romil asks her to give a third name, Megha takes KV’s name for his wrong decision as a captain.

Romil asks Surbhi to defend herself against the allegations. Surbhi says using abusive words doesn’t spoil the atmosphere of the house and doesn’t make her a bad person. She says that she’s man enough to own her mistakes. She loses her mind over it and says that everyone targets her because she accepts her actions, while everyone else uses abusive words. Surbhi sits in the garden and starts crying and shouting. Somi tries to talk sense into her, but Surbhi doesn’t listen to anyone. She starts speaking in English and loses her mind. Romil asks her to speak in Hindi. Bigg Boss also warns her to speak in Hindi. Surbhi says that she’s willingly breaking the rules now. Surbhi keeps on ranting for a long time.

Romil tells her that she can still try to defend herself instead of breaking more rules. Surbhi says that she’s breaking all the rules, and will see what can the captain do about it, adding that she won’t go to jail even if he sends her there. In the bedroom Sree tries to speak to her, but Surbhi is in no mood to listen. Somi comes to Romil and asks him not to take Surbhi’s name. Romil asks her to trust him.

When the next gong goes, Romil takes Shivashish’s name, saying that he becomes overly aggressive during the tasks. He brings back the incident when Shiv had hit Deepak during a task earlier. Surbhi says that Shiv doesn’t deserve to go to jail and that she will go instead. Shivashish says that everyone else also becomes aggressive and refuses to take the ticket for jail. He says he won’t go to jail, no matter what.

Surbhi says that she’ll make the house dirty and damage the property too. Sree becomes upset will all the mayhem. He asks Bigg Boss to take a call and says that Romil is taking out his personal grudge. Romil says that he has made his decision and Shiv is not accepting it and asks him to intervene if he can.

Outside, Dipika tells Megha that it’s evident from Romil’s smirk that he’s taking revenge. Surbhi loses her mind. Romil tells her that her punishment is self-realisation. Surbhi starts crying and says what kind of a brother is Romil that he’s playing with her feelings.

Later, Bigg Boss tells the rest of the housemates that if they don’t accept the decision of the captain and act accordingly, there can be dire consequences which the rest of the housemates will also have to face. Bigg Boss advises them to take the task seriously. Shiv still refuses to go to jail. Dipika, Somi and KV try to convince him, saying that there may be other people who are more deserving to go to jail but at this point he’s the one emerging as a villain. KV tells him that the rest of the housemates may also get nominated if he doesn’t accept Romil’s decision. Shiv refuses to budge.

At 6:30 pm, Bigg Boss tells the housemates that when the Captain is given a special power everyone is supposed to abide by the decision taken by him. Bigg Boss says that Shiv has still not gone to jail as per Romil’s decision. He further added that Shiv has crossed all limits today by not abiding by the rules and refusing to accept Bigg Boss’ instructions. Bigg Boss ends up nominating all the housemates for evictions next week, except Romil. Bigg Boss also asks Romil to release Megha from the jail since the kaalkothri task gets cancelled.

Somi Khan, Jasleen and Deepak start spewing venom against Shiv and his arrogance. Dipika also says that Shiv is wrong in not following the instructions. She tells Sree that he is also in the wrong since he is the only one who was supporting Shiv in his arrogant decision instead of giving him a sane advice. Srishty and Megha tell Sree that he should have advised Shiv to listen to Bigg Boss’s orders. Dipika and Sree also have a verbal argument on the matter.

In the garden area, Romil tells Jasleen that he feels even the housemates are wrong because the kind of reactions they are giving after being nominated, they should have given when Bigg Boss first announced that if Shiv doesn’t comply, the rest of them may also have to face the consequences.

Sree and Dipika are having a chat. Dipika tells him that she’s not siding with the rest of the housemates, but she feels that he should have convinced Shiv to go to jail but he didn’t. Sree doesn’t agree. Dipika is hurt by Sree’s reactions and goes inside. Sree follows her to the washroom and apologises to her.

In the garden area, Sree and Shiv are having a chat. Shiv is emotional and feels bad that the entire house got nominated because of him. Shiv breaks down. Sree tells him about his struggle and bad days.

Later, KV reads out the task for the luxury budget. The housemates are divided into two teams - Team Rohit and Team Romil. Rohit and Romil will have to perform the task. The winning team will get the luxury budget. Since Deepak’s hand is hurt he won’t participate in the task but will be the timekeeper and sanchalak.

Romil is the first one to go to perform the task while the opposite team members throw balls at him. He takes 36.38 seconds to complete the task. The next one to go is Rohit. Rohit takes 49.84 seconds to complete the task. The luxury budget task is won by Romil and team A.

Late night around 2 am, KV tells Deepak that he shouldn’t trust Romil in the game in the later stage. Deepak agrees with him and says that he knows that. KV tells him that the game will take a major turn in the next week and so will Romil. KV says that Romil has already started playing with Surbhi, and the same will happen with Deepak too. The episode comes to an end.
