Kate Upton rips umps over controversial fan interference call that cost Astros a homer

Houston Astros fans were furious after umps called spectator interference on a ball that was hit over the right field wall by Jose Altuve in the bottom of the first inning of Wednesday night’s Game 4 of the ALCS.

One of those angry fans was Kate Upton, whose husband, Justin Verlander, will pitch Game 5 for the Astros.

She sounded off on Twitter from her seat behind home plate, retweeting a video of the play and calling the call a bad word:

Here’s another look at the controversial moment involving Mookie Betts and the fans in right field:

That would have been a two-run homer and made it a 2-2 game in the bottom of the first. Instead, Altuve was called out.

Upton, still furious, later raised a question to MLB.

And finally she retweeted a note on the rule from he brother-in-law, Ben Verlander.

She also had a message for some dumb fans out there who took shots at her:

Astros fans will likely be angry about this call for quite some time. And we can’t blame them, as it’s not something you see very often and could have easily gone either way.
