P.S. Rajan appointed CEO of Kerala Bank

The government has decided to appoint P.S. Rajan, general manager, Union Bank of India as CEO, Kerala Bank.

The Cabinet which met here on Thursday decided to appoint M. Kausigan as Land Board Secretary with additional charge of Joint Commissioner, Land Revenue. Mr. Kausigan is currently Managing Director, Kerala Water Authority. Water Resources Secretary B. Ashok has been given additional charge of MD, KWA.

Project Director of KSTP Rajamanikyam will hold additional charge of MD, KSIDC.

The Cabinet accorded administrative sanction for the construction of a finger jetty on the Gopalapetta side of the Thalassery fishing harbour. The project estimated to cost ₹5.23 crore would enable traditional fishermen to berth their boats safely.

It also approved a draft amendment bringing labelling workers also into the ambit of the Abkari Workers Welfare Fund Act.
