In an interview with Radio Marte show ‘Si gonfia la rete’ Vincenzo Pisacane, the agent of Danilo D’Ambrosio has revealed how long his client’s injury will keep him out for.

The Italian defender sustained an injury during Italy’s 2-0 win over Greece in a EURO 2020 qualifier in recent days and tests conducted today by Inter’s medical staff confirmed that the 31-year-old has broken a toe on his right foot but gave no timeline for return.

“After the blow to the foot he continued to play because he did not think it was much of an injury but instead it was a mini fracture: he will have to rest for at least 15 days,” Pisacane confirmed during the radio transmission.

D’Ambrosio has been near ever present for Inter this season featuring in all bar one of their eight games across all competitions to date. In 592 minutes on the field, the former Torino player has contributed one goal from wing back.
