Responsibilities:

 

You will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Information Technology
program, which is responsible for the delivery of the global technology roadmap
to support the AFC Business client and the respective businesses in Deutsche
Bank, in order to promote adherence to regulatory requirements.
As the AML Transaction Monitoring (?TM?) Solution Architect, you will shape
and oversee compliance with DFS-504 regulation and services through the design
and implementation stages of their lifecycles. You will be primarily
responsible for the solution design
You will lead TM related technical analysis activities involving team members
based in New York, Frankfurt, London and Bucharest.
Responsibility Areas / Tasks:

The role will entail:
? Conducting architectural evaluation, design and analysis of the entire AFC
landscape
? Ensuring that the application architecture team delivers robust system
solution to architect business
? Being a critical solution architect within a team of highly skilled
architects
? Collaborate with IT development team to assure architectural solution could
be suitably translated into effectual and robust implementation
? Perform closely with Enterprise Architects within Architecture Services
team to assure constant compliance of strategic blueprints and architecture
? Completing architectural design following best practice tools and
methodologies and delivered using all relevant bank standards

Job Requirements
Essential Technical skills:
? Proven track-record of successful IT project delivery to high-pressure
clients
? Ability to conduct functional analysis of requirements
? Ability to translate requirements created by functional analysts into the
architecture for that solution and describing it through architecture and
design artifacts.
? Develop, enhance and maintain established service design procedure and
process to assure apt and robust service design.
? Significant experience coding with various languages - Java essential and
Python highly desirable, others (C, C++, C#, R, Q, etc) desirable.
? Oracle and PL/SQL
? Experience practicing Agile and Test Driven Development
? Experience practicing Continuous Integration and Delivery
? Sound understanding of the electronic trading environment and the
technology stack including storage, networking, messaging and hardware
? Can demonstrate the ability to thrive within a dynamic, fast paced
environment with short delivery cycles and changing requirements
? Experience of working in a robust technology environment with a clear
appreciation of software development best practices and change control
procedures
? Relevant experience and interest in algorithmic, machine learning and AI
technologies extremely advantageous
? Understanding of the different architectural design patterns
? Understanding of data architecture and protocols
? Able to operate as part of a team of highly skilled developers
? Understanding of AFC an advantage
? Understanding of the wider technology landscape, an interest in emerging
technologies
? Working understanding of IT security and how it applies to application
design, implementation and operation
? A strong understanding of the process of building applications, the
technical environment within which they operate, the processes required to
successfully manage their day to day operation and their ongoing maintenance
and capacity planning

Preferable Technical Skills:
? Understanding of SOA & high-level IT architecture
? Functioning as part of multi-disciplinary teams
? Experience or interest in automation of quantitative tasks e.g. machine
learning
? Operational experience in an IT line function or relevant business area

Experience Required:
? Proven track-record of development experience in a high-pressure,
fast-moving environment E.g. with a leading consulting firm within financial
services or an International investment bank and able to demonstrate a thorough
understanding of the front to development lifecycle
? Solution orientated & pragmatic with sensitivity to business needs &
requirements
? Proven knowledge of IT technical processes and IT implementations
? Has demonstrated superior problem-solving skills
? Desire and commitment to ?make a difference?. Dynamic and willing to

Education / Certification:
? Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in
Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis
certification and/or relevant work experience)
