Antonio Conte left a sheet of paper detailing Inter’s set piece routines in their dressing room on Sunday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported this morning.

The Nerazzurri beat Lugano 2-1 at the Stadio Cornaredo, with goals from Marcelo Brozovic and new signing Stefano Sensi.

Inter are flying to Singapore today to begin their preseason tour of Asia, but Conte left some clues behind as to how the team is working from dead-ball situations.

“Conte’s plans for attacking corners and free-kicks were still stuck to the dressing room door after everyone had left,” Gazzetta explained.

“His instructions for Inter’s players were: two men standing over the ball, two waiting outside the area for a rebound and five in the box.

“Perisic takes all corners from the left, Brozovic takes them from the right and Esposito is the second man over the ball on both sides. Sensi is always on the edge of the box.”

Inter hope their aerial prowess in the box can be strengthened even further by the arrivals of Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko.

Diego Godin and Matias Vecino will both arrive during the Nerazzurri’s Asian tour, providing Conte with further ammunition at set pieces.
