Mauro Icardi began a personalised training regime at Appiano Gentile this morning as Inter flew out to Singapore, according to Sky Sport.

The striker will not take part in the Nerazzurri’s Asian tour because the club have decided they will sell him this summer.

Icardi was excluded from all tactical exercises in Switzerland last week and left the day before Inter beat Lugano in Sunday’s friendly.

Antonio Conte is showing no sign of having second thoughts about Maurito, who has one fitness coach to work with this week, and will hope Inter can find a buyer for him soon.

Inter will play Manchester United in Singapore on Saturday before travelling to Suning’s headquarters in Nanjing, where they are due to face Juventus.

Conte’s side will then play Paris Saint-Germain in Macau for the International Super Cup, before returning to Europe on 28 July.

Icardi will miss all of these matches and is highly unlikely to feature in the games against Tottenham and Valencia in August either.
