Comedian Louis CK has been accused of sexual assault by a string of women who claim he masturbated in front of them.
Others allege they could hear him masturbating when they were speaking to him on the phone or that he asked them if he could masturbate in front of them.
Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, a comedy duo, say they landed their big break in 2002 when they were invited to perform at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
They claim that Louis CK invited them to hang out in his hotel room after their late-night show, inviting them for drinks.
As a comedian they admired, and with all the bars already being shut, the women say they went along.
They claim that as soon as they arrived in his room, he asked if he could take out his penis.
The women told the New York Times that they thought he was joking at first.
"And then he really did it," Ms Goodman said. "He proceeded to take all his clothes off, and get completely naked, and started masturbating."
Another woman, Abby Schachner, claims that in 2003, she called Louis CK to invite him to one of her shows and that she could hear him masturbating while they were talking.
A further claim comes from Rebecca Corry, who told the publication that while she was appearing on a television pilot with Louis CK in 2005, he asked if he could masturbate in front of her. She says she declined his offer.
The Times say they approached Louis CK for an interview in the wake of the allegations and were turned away by his publicist, Lewis Kay, who said in an email: "Louis is not going to answer any questions."
The comedian cancelled the premiere of his latest movie, I Love You, Daddy, which was due to take place tonight, and also cancelled an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, according to the newspaper.
Reps for the premiere told the Hollywood Reporter that the event was cancelled due to "unexpected circumstances".
Louis CK rose to fame through his comedy routines about his sexual hang-ups and would mime masturbation extensively in his act.
