Alexis Sanchez wishes to stay with Inter on a permanent basis according to a report from Italian media outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Chilean national team attacker is currently on loan at Inter from Manchester United and he has no intention of returning to the Premier League club.

He is well aware that Inter manager Antonio Conte likes him and would like to keep him around at the club. Sanchez could therefore ask Manchester United to let him leave on favourable terms, the report continues.

Sanchez’s wages pose an issue but Inter could spread them across a three year contract and by doing this they could benefit from the newly introduced Italian tax laws.

According to the report, his agent Fernando Felicevich is already at work and trying to find a solution that will please his client. Manchester United want €20 million for the former Barcelona player but the report goes on to add that the feeling is that a deal could be done for a fee in the region of €10-12 million.
