Footballer Alex Iwobi Leaves Arsenal For Everton In A Record Breaking Permanent Transfer Deal

International Footballer Alex Iwobi no longer plays for Arsenal and has been signed on to Everton for £35m.






The 23-year-old midfielder  signed a five-year deal with Everton paying £28m up front, plus up to £7m in additional fees.

Head coach Unai Emery at Arsenal had this to say concerning Iwobi leaving Arsenal on their website .......
“Alex has made a big contribution at Arsenal.
“He worked hard in the academy, where he was an example to many young players and has been an important part of our squad.
We wish Alex every success in the future,”

  3. I was shocked when I saw it yesterday. I'm not a fan of AFC but hey not Everton na.

    I wonder why Arsenal keeps selling their best players. First, it was Aaron Ramsey now Iwobi! Good luck to gunners.

  5. That's why my hubby and I have agreed that our son must play football. We're already introducing it to him. When he's five, he will go to the academy at Gbagada.

    2. Madam, football skills are innate, they’re not learnt. In most cases, it’s genetics. Academy only helps to co-ordinate and channel the skill. Just pray your boy has it in him, if not you’d only be putting undue pressure on the boy.
