The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, spotted flying business class to Owerri, Imo State.

According to a Twitter user, Don Norman Obinna who took to his Twitter page saying that the Minister Ngige flew in the same aircraft with him to Imo State after saying that N30,000 minimum wage is enough for a family of four.

See his post below;

See who flew in the same aircraft with me to Owerri; the Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige, who said publicly that N30,000 minimum wage is enough for a family of four. Air Peace business class is N80k, but he flew with two of his aides. Our leaders have no conscience.

And the yeye man was stupid enough to include his face in the picture.
I don't think it's a crime for a minister of the federal republic to fly business class. There are provisions for it.
You can never satisfy human beings. The same person will complain if Ngige flew economy.

You say what? have you ever seen a Nigerian complain about our politician flying Economy before, bros talk for yourself.
Though flying in a business class for Ngige is not a bad thing the issue I have with most of them is there insensitivity to the masses plights.

Your type of Nigerians are the reason we are where we are.. you lead by example, you dont tell people to cut cost and employ cost saving strategies because we are in perilous times while no one sees that cost saving strategy in you.

Peter obi has been flying Economy since God knows when... is he dead?

That is leadership by example.

Ngige can't even lie he was just putting his luggage in the compartment for business class.

His ass was definitely descending in one of those seats.

Oga, that man is a taxpayer and a citizen of his country with the protection of the constitution. Are you trying to intimidate him? He has his free speech and the right to criticize those directing the affairs of this country if he spots any anomalies.
Ngigi is not God and no man should be coerced to cower in fear of his fellow human being. Before putting his face out there, he has weighed the consequences and he is by far older than you in age. He knows his coins and he is giving a voice not for himself alone but for the benefit of you and other Nigerians. It is a call for support, not criticism. What he said is absolutely right. Many presidents and politicians in the world take buses and stand in queues.
Esseite gave you the best reply. You are a killjoy. You have a bad heart. Ngigi is a known embezzler and a conman. Why should a reasonable person be defending crooks who should be in jails? Is 30,000 naira reasonable of pay to a Nigerian who has oil in his home? How much is transport alone to talk of feeding and then rent in Nigeria? How can a man sustain his family on 30k monthly income? And, Ngige will not accept that if he were paid the same.
If you can justify the provision for ministers to fly business class, why not justify the provision for meaningful pays for other fellow citizens like Ngige? See things in the right perspective.
