Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is on Manchester City’s shortlist as they plan a major squad overhaul according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Daily Mail.

After their ban from the Champions League for the next two seasons was overturned yesterday by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Premier League side are prepared to offer new deals to star players and invest heavily into bringing in new stars too, the report states.

Lautaro has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona but the Blaugrana club have struggled to meet Inter’s demands for the highly rated 22-year-old.

This season the Argentine national team striker has scored 18 goals and provided six assists for his teammates in 39 appearances across all competitions to date.

Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Valencia’s Ferran Torres and Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, who has also been linked to Inter as of late, are all also understood to be on the Citizens radar.
