A coastal low is strengthening along the East Coast and Northeast today bringing locally heavy rain and strong winds. Temperatures near the coast will be in the 40s and 50s, keeping this a rain event while interior sections could get a good amount of snow.
In the Midwest rain will increase concern for ongoing flooding this weekend. Our west, a system will move in bringing more rain and mountain snow.
