Exercise makes one healthier and happier. Sweating it out is an absolute roadmap to achieve glowing and healthy skin. But not having a disciplined regime in skincare could actually damage the skin. Get acquainted with what to do before, while and after a workout to make your skin look radiant and to make your hair healthy. To get that glowing skin before and after a workout, here are a few tips you must follow:
Tie your hair back
No matter what the length of your hair is, always pull it back from your face.
Use a headband or tie your hair into a ponytail. For short hair, you can use hair clips and pins. Hair products combined with sweat will clog pores and cause breakouts on the forehead.
Do not touch your face
All the germs and bacteria from the gym equipment can cause acne and even bacterial infection. So consciously keep your hands off your face while working out. In between, you can use a clean towel to wipe the sweat.
Do not work out with make-up
It's best to wipe out all the make-up and wash your face before working out. Skin can get affected when make-up and sweat mixes, which can lead to skin irritation and breakouts. When it comes to outdoor workouts, do make sure you apply sunscreen. Apply it 15-20 minutes before heading out for it to get absorbed.

Always clean your face after a workout
Use a gentle cleanser that works for your skin type. Keeping a sweat-free face can prevent the pores from clogging.
Don't ignore the body
Remove sweaty clothes after your workout as the body tends to sweat and release toxins. Post-workout toxins usually get soaked into clothes. This can clog pores and lead to body acne. Ideally, one should take a quick shower and change into clean clothes.
