Inter have no intention of dismissing coach Antonio Conte at the end of the season but will also not sign every player he wants, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri’s management still believe in the Lecce born coach and believe that he is the perfect leader for their new project.

The club understand that they will have to meet some of the former Juventus and Chelsea boss’ demands this summer, signing veterans like Arturo Vidal or Edin Dzeko, players who have a winning mentality and perform in the big games.

However, Inter won’t only focus on signing Conte’s preferred players, the report continues. The club will still focus on their desire to sign younger players with more future potential, but will sign a few veterans to give Conte a few points of reference in the squad.

There won’t be a huge squad overhaul, but instead important signings to strengthen key areas of the squad.
