Inter have been slapped with a fine of almost €10,000 as a result of the behaviour of some fans in the away leg of their Europa League last 32 match-up against Ludogorets.

The Nerazzurri took on the reigning Bulgarian champions on February 20 at the Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad and would win the match 2-0 with thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen.

However, the behaviour of some fans that night has cost the club a sum of €9500. Inter have been fined after some fans let off smoke bombs in the stands and also committed acts of vandalism although it is not specified exactly what the offending fans did.

Inter would win the return leg of the fixture 2-1 at San Siro and progress to the next round of the competition thanks to a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.

Inter were then drawn against Spanish outfit Getafe but due to the Coronavirus crisis the first leg was postponed and it remains a mystery as to when the first and second legs will be carried out, if at all.
