JP Nadda says Congress is dynastic party, BJP party of common workers
SHIMLA: Ahead of assembly byelections on Dharamshala and Pachhad (SC) assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh, BJP’s national working president Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Congress is a dynastic party while BJP is party of common workers. While addressing the 'Abhinandan Samaroh’ held at Luhnu ground in Bilaspur, Nadda gave the call to make country 'Congress Mukt' for next 25 years. He said that Congress leaders are either in jail or on bail.
Nadda was addressing the first public meeting in the state after becoming national working president.
He said that today the membership of BJP has increased to 17.50 crore from 11 crore in the month of July. He said that the membership of BJP in the Himachal Pradesh has also increased, which shows the faith of the people in the BJP.
He said that the world has acknowledged the strong and able leadership of India and it was under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Article 370 was abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir, thereby paving the way for one nation, one Constitution. He said that this Article was indeed a hurdle for development of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said this also paved the way for uniform law throughout the country thereby connecting Kashmir to the mainstream. He said that abolition of triple talaq was yet another historic decision which had ensured empowerment of Muslim women. He said that Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, was being implemented in the country to ensure social security of the farmers.
He said that the present BJP government in the state, under the leadership of chief minister Jai Ram Thakur, has initiated several developmental works. He said that several schemes have been launched by the state government and the central government was providing wholehearted support to the state for its developmental endeavours.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said that it was an honour for this small state that such a huge responsibility was entrusted on a leader of Himachal Pradesh - Jagat Prakash Nadda to lead the BJP as it’s national working president. He said that such an opportunity comes once in a life time when a leader gets a chance to lead the biggest political party of the world.

He thanked the people of the state for the landslide victory of the BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that the BJP set a record in itself by winning in all the 68 assembly constituencies of the state in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that the vote share of the party was highest in the state in the Lok Sabha elections.
He said that the highest victory margin in terms of vote percentage was also of BJP MP Shri Kishan Kapoor who is from Kangra parliamentary seat. He said that it was due to the BJP's victory in Himachal Pradesh that the nation today has a strong leadership in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that today India was poised to emerge as a world power under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
