Solar cycle 24 to 25 transition watch COVID-19 outbreak

Chart updated through Feb 2020 – the previous post has been quarantined – will see if the proponents of the pandemic correlation with sunspots cycles can come up with better statistics. Interesting new item from NY Times 2 years ago – Trillions Upon Trillions of Viruses Fall From the Sky Each Day.

  1. Thought I would check what the Fed Govt are telling us on their health etc www page
    www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert
I see these 7 points Good hygiene includes:. Sheese –
Surely point 6 starting “if you are sick” needs re-casting.
If you are sick you need to be following a whole new regime of isolation probably needing a different list.
On the other hand, for the purposes of the 7 point list the words “if you are sick” could be deleted because everybody should be following what comes after.
Surely the coughs and sneezes advice could be a bit better too.
    Good hygiene includes:
covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue
    disposing of tissues properly
washing your hands often with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet
    using alcohol-based hand sanitisers
    cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
if you are sick, avoiding contact with others and staying more than 1.5 metres away from people
cleaning and sanitising frequently used objects such as mobiles, keys and wallets

  2. From that newspaper. Not every virus is bad and some control global CO2.
Interesting newspaper found by my friend Warwick Hughes.
“In laboratory experiments, he has filtered viruses out of seawater but left their prey, bacteria. When that happens, plankton in the water stop growing. That’s because when preying viruses infect and take out one species of microbe — they are very specific predators — they liberate nutrients in them, such as nitrogen, that feed other species of bacteria. In the same way, an elk killed by a wolf becomes food for ravens, coyotes and other species. As plankton grow, they take in carbon dioxide and create oxygen.”
Is that a symbiotic relationship with the C.L.A.W. effect?
