Where can I see my loans? How can I borrow an E-book? How are E-audiobooks used? During the coronavirus pandemic, Jyväskylä City Library offers guidance on the use of E-materials by phone.

Jyväskylä City Library has set up a new telephone service to guide customers in their use of E-materials.

Even though the library is closed, it is still possible to borrow E-books. The Ellibs collection, for example, includes a great variety of E-books and E-audiobooks. Audiobooks can also be listened to via Naxos Spoken Word Library and Naxos Music Library, and magazines and newspapers can be accessed via EMagz and PressReader services.

To borrow some of the E-materials, only a library card is needed. However, to borrow books from the Ellibs collection, also a 4-digit PIN code is needed.  Before you call the E-materials telephone service, please make sure that you have your library card number and the 4-digit PIN code.

Unfortunately, the phone service will not be able to guide customers in how to use electronic devices. The phone service is open on weekdays at 10–14, tel. 014 26 64105.

If you do not yet have a PIN code, you can usually acquire it by yourself by following the online instructions. However, if your library card is not linked to your email address, you can acquire the PIN code by calling the library phone service number on weekdays 10-16, tel. 014 266 4123.

To browse the E-materials, please go to Keski Libraries E-library.
