Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs makes a difficult choice next week as he realises it's time to come clean with the police about Hope Stape's fire guilt.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and his ex-partner Fiz are currently keeping quiet about how Hope was responsible for the recent blaze at the salon flat. In the coming days, viewers will see Tyrone confide in his grandmother Evelyn Plummer and his girlfriend Alina Pop about the situation.

Next week, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is forced to spend the night in a police cell after deciding to take the blame for the fire.

Evelyn (Dame Maureen Lipman) is deeply concerned by the situation and points out to Tyrone that Hope needs professional help.

Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) is also unhappy about the ongoing cover-up, pointing out that Hope could cause someone serious harm in the future if her recent crime goes unpunished.

Alina warns Tyrone that it'll be his fault if the worst happens.

Taking all of this on board, Tyrone goes to the police and tells them that Hope was responsible for starting the fire.

The police then tell Fiz that she's not being charged as they now know that Hope was the guilty party.
