Joe Biden may have made most of the headlines on Wednesday, but his wife, Dr Jill Biden, got her share of the publicity, too. The moment in question? When protesters stormed Biden's Super Tuesday speech, and a photo of his wife blocking one of them went viral.
"Jill Biden, you see that!" says Trevor Noah in the Daily Show clip above. "Stepped in and blocked that protestor like a white lady Jackie Chan! I mean I knew she was a doctor, but I didn't realise her PhD was in ass whopping."
Noah goes on to shout out Biden's senior adviser Symone Sanders, who stormed onto the stage in order to drag the protestor away.
"She handled that protester like a professional bodyguard," says Noah. "Hell, Biden's got more women protecting him than T'Challa. Like, he's just killing it out here. No wonder he's winning the black vote."
