Chelsea’s assistant coach, Marco Ianni has been charged by the FA for his conduct which sparked a melee at the tunnel during the Manchester United match over the weekend.
Ianni celebrated in front of the United bench, seemingly mocking them after Ross Barkley’s 96th-minute equalizer, his actions had prompted a reaction from Mourinho, who charged at him furiously with the stewards and security personnel stepping in to intervene.
The FA formally reminded Mourinho of his responsibilities in terms of good conduct at all times while both clubs received similar official reminders regards the conduct of their staff and players.
The FA has described Marco Ianni’s behavior as constituting improper conduct and he has until 6 pm on Thursday, October 25th to respond to the charge.
