Here's what I find ridiculous!
I find it ridiculous that home grown "celebrities" always sound and act like they've been "helped" or done a favor by organizations who choose to partner with them.
Hellooooo, it's called an endorsement deal. You have been contracted to endorse the brand of the organization. The business recognizes the influence you wield over a demographics who are their target market and they need you so as to leverage on your influence.
I reiterate, you are the one endorsing their brand. It's not the other way around.
So stop with the pathetic thank you speeches to the companies and most importantly, stop using an endorsement deal as an opportunity to throw low level shades, calling out imaginary haters. When you do these, you expose your insecurities, smallness and uncertainty of your true worth. This is why the bigger, more successful brands won't come 200meters close to you!
If you don't believe me, watch how your seniors in the developed countries announce such partnership.
Heck, they don't! The businesses they're endorsing, does the announcement! They creatively put out the content they've been PAID to put out!
You call yourself a big brand yet contradict yourself by thanking the company for "finding you worthy". LOL. You have just ignorantly discredited that business because what your statement means is, you are beneath that business and if they were not sensible enough to recognize that, then they've got poor judgement and I wouldn't trust them to deliver on their promise to me.
Stop being ignorant.

DeleteHRH, the ppl u speak of get high level endorsements on account of who they are; that is, their achievements and the public's perceptions of them. Any want of gratitude on their part, to be sure, is not what gets them offers. Nevertheless, they do express gratitude...perhaps more subtly. It's funny that u would be talking about 'arrogant ignorance' when u apparently have an issue with simple courtesy. What is wrong with a show of appreciation for recognition that could have gone to anyone among so many others like urself. The world is filled with individuals able to push any one brand at anytime. Nobody is indispensable.'Influence' and 'good judgement' alone do not feed ur bank balance. As an artiste, by the time u are left high and dry with those alone, 'thank you' won't sound like such a difficult expression to utter after all, for a profitable offer made.
