The pro wrestling world just continues to get smaller.
From NXT UK to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada some indie wrestling fans are about to get a taste of British Strong Style. For the five year anniversary show of Canadian indie fed Destiny World Wrestling, none other than Pete Dunne will headline the show. The longtime NXT UK champion will put his Destiny world championship on the line versus interim champion Josh Alexander.
In the co-main event, former NXT UK and NXT tag team champion Tyler Brate will go heads up versus Aiden Prince.

The face of NXT’s UK brand, and world champion for over 500 days, Dunne was last seen teaming up with the War Raiders and Ricochet in the main event of NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
Destiny World Wrestling Presents Carnage takes place at the Don Kolov Arena in Mississauga, Ontario on Sun., Jan. 20.
Scheduled for just eight days after NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool and less than a week before NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, Dunne is setting himself up for a very busy January.
Even though we’ve seen plenty of NXT stars make cameos on the indie scene over the past year, its still cool to see WWE rubber stamping these one off appearances.
