Prince Andrew is back: Duke of York’s status in the royal fold laid bare

Prince Andrew maintains his position in the royal fold along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

The Duke of York was seen smiling greeting guests alongside Fergie at the memorial service of the late King of Greece on Tuesday. Their daughter Princess Beatrice was also in attendance with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Andrew was also sat in the front row just five seats away from Queen Camilla, who was leading the service for the late King, who was also the second cousin of King Charles.

Following the appearance, a royal source revealed to GB News that “Prince Andrew and the Yorks are firmly back in the fold.”

Despite being stripped off of his military titles and royal patronages due to his sex scandal in which he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor on multiple occasions, the disgraced royal has front and centre on many of the royal events.

However, royal commentator Sarah Hewson had said that Andrew is not allowed to conduct royal engagements but he can attend family events.

While there has been no indication that Prince Andrew will return as the working royal after his ties with convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, were laid bare.

Moreover, Fergie also seems to have maintained her place as a source told The Daily Mail, “There's a feeling that, no matter what Sarah's personal faults – and she can be like Marmite in that respect – she has been a good mother to the girls and loyal to Andrew.”
