Sofyan Amrabat is taking his time before deciding whether or not to join Napoli due to Inter’s interest in him according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Napoli have already agreed terms with Hellas Verona over the transfer of the 23-year-old Moroccan international midfielder but he is waiting to see if Inter will turn the interest they have into something more concrete.

As per the report, for the time being Inter have other priorities when it comes to central midfield, where Amrabat primarily plays, but this has not stopped them from recently meeting with his agent.

Amrabat has been one of Hellas Verona’s best players this season since his arrival at the club from Belgian giants Club Brugge.

The former Utrecht player has made 18 appearances across all competitions since his arrival at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club. He has however been unable to contribute any goals or tally any assists in his 1520 minutes on the field to date.
