Popular Nigerian lady on Twitter, Sugabelly has just made a controversial suggestion.
According to her, 'children should bear the name of the mother not the father, and while not necessary for families to have the same name, when they do, husbands should bear the names of their wives'.

It's a norm to answer your husband's last name after marriage and it's a norm for the children to have their father's last name, but it is not a law that they do that. That is where freedom comes in. Let us be careful as feminists so that we don't eventually become the problem we are trying to fight in the first place.
