NXT UK results, highlights (Oct. 31, 2018): Two new episodes

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing(s) of WWE NXT UK in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM British time slot (that’s 3PM Eastern for us Yanks) at 9PM British time (that’s 4PM for us Yanks) on WWE Network.

In an effort to catch up with the backlog of episodes they’ve taped since the summer, two episodes will roll out on Halloween. There’s no word if this will continue to be the pattern for a while or if it’s a one-off. Same goes for the slight shift in timing.

We'll post segment match results and highlights here. Most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever happens on the newest wing of WWE’s third brand - starting during its initial broadcast!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

Enjoy the show(s)!

Episode 3

- Trent Seven def. Saxon Huxley

Good, five minute back-and-forth that Seven wins with a Burning Hammer.

- Flash Morgan Webster def. Mark Coffey

The Coffey Brothers got a hype video and Webster an interview before the match. He survives the numbers game and rolls up Mark for the win.

Mark and his brother Joe jumped the Mod Superstar after the match, but Travis Banks and Mark Andrews ran in to chase them off.

- A teaser promo airs for Jinny

- Danny Burch def. Sam Gradwell

Short, brutal little affair. After the match, Burch called out UK Champ Pete Dunne.

- Jordan Devlin got a video package

- Zack Gibson def. Noam Dar

Really good 20 minute match with Dar working Gibson’s leg throughout, but never being quite able to finish him. Liverpool’s #1 throws Noam into the ring post and hit Helter Skelter for a pinfall victory. The crowd’s loathing of Gibson makes his matches a blast.

Episode 4

- Mustache Mountain def. Sam Gradwell & Saxon Huxley

- Travis Banks is seen taken out backstage. After features on Isla Dawn and another hype piece for Jinny, Mark Andrews asks General Manager Johnny Saint for a chance to replace him in the main event. He also says the Coffeys are to blame for the attack on Banks.

- Isla Dawn def. Nina Samuels

- UK Champ Pete Dunne is interviewed. He’s not worried about facing Danny Burch for his title. We also get a quick promo from Jordan Devlin about representing Ireland.

- It’s confirmed that Andrews will replace Banks in the main, and we get another good Eddie Dennis promo. He tells the story of trying out and getting signed. He says his friends Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews didn’t call him while he was injured, and he has everything to prove after Dunne and Andrews advanced in WWE without him.

- Jordan Devlin def. Tucker

- We learn that in two weeks it will be Dakota Kai vs. ‘18 Mae Young Classic winner Toni Storm! Burch also is interviewed about his title shot in two weeks, and he says he’ll make fans believe he can win.

- Travis Banks Mark Andrews def. Wolfgang

The Coffeys return to attack Andrews, and Flash Morgan Webster runs in to help but gets beat down, too. Wolfgang returns for what looks like a save, but he ends up joining Mark & Joe!
