This Close-Up Shot Of Jupiter's Oval Clouds Is Simply Breathtaking
This stunning image of enormous, swirling clouds on Jupiter was taken by NASA's Juno spacecraft during its 16th close flyby of our galaxy's largest planet.
The giant storm cloud on the upper left corner of the image is a white oval, a large scale storm that is prevalent in Jupiter and can last over 40 years. And just so you have a better idea of the size of these things, some white ovals are so huge that they apparently rival the size of Earth. So yeah, their beauty is probably something you'd like to admire from a distance.
