The Commissioner of Information and Malam Muhammadu Garba and that of Finance, Alhaji Aminu Dan-Amu, have been attacked by thugs.

The information commissioner was molested at Yalwa polling unit in Dala local government where his car’s windscreen was smashed by the thugs.

His counterpart of the finance ministry, Dan-Amu, was attacked at Dogon-Nama polling unit in the same Dala local government. The thugs tore his cloth.

Also attacked, was an All Progressives Congress’ elder, Alhaji Liti Kul-Kul.

It was gathered that the elder was trailed to his family house by the thugs before attacking him.

Confirming the incident, Garba said, “I was personally attacked by PDP thugs at Yalwa polling unit and the windscreen of my car was smashed.

He said: “I am sure the attack emanated from the pronouncement of Kwankwasiyya leader, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso who said all PDP members are agents and all PDP members are security.”

“This is the danger of such statements especially by leaders. We have Kwankwaso on tape, urging his supporters to be agents and security at polling units. This is wrong and unacceptable.”

Urging PDP members to be agents and security is simply asking them to safeguard their votes and not a call to violence. As the Police would say Crime Prevention is everyones business does not mean that everyone is a Policeman or Policewoman

At this stage, a benevolent military regime that can fast track development and reduce the cost of elections, governance and loss of lives is welcome.

No old men. Only young college educated military officers. Yes, I said it!

Its unfortunate this is what elections has degenerated to in Nigeria, especially under this administration.

We have successfully discarded the Democratic gains of the 2015 elections.

Well, nobody has the monopoly of violence!

Rubbish. you're an APC member so you will try as much as possible to cover the tracks of desperate Gandollar but you did a bad job already. Evidence of APC thugs causing mayhem in this particular election is now circulating the net.

I wish every unborn kids could be given the fair chance of reading news about different countries before picking the country of their choice then I won't be in Nigeria. Been trying to score this administration recently. We have a Major General as our president and security does not even exist anywhere in Nigeria apart from maybe Aso Rock and some few places. Security is at an all time low, deaths at an all time high. He has integrity and he's been fighting corruption and Babachir Lawal is still somewhere enjoying his IDP loots, the allegations raised against Burutai, Abba Kyari, NHIS chairman were dead on arrival and not even looked into(so many others). Orji Kalu and Obanikoro and some others quickly joined APC when they were dragging them upandan and their sins were quickly forgiven. Now that's the definition of integrity. He's the minister for petroleum. Fought againsta subsidy and ended up going for subsidy. What a savage. Atiku is not good for Nigeria but let's be logical, it's hard to point for badder president for Nigeria than PMB.
