New Queen Of Rap? Cardi B Scores Her Third Billboard #1
Cardi B is on a roll to take the crown from Nicki Minaj as the queen of rap and there is no stopping her as the “I Like It” rapper has scored her third #1 hit on Billboard.

Cardi B who previously held the record for being the first female rapper to score two #1 hits has now added another to it to raise the bar even higher. The song, “Girls Like Me” is by Maroon 5 and has the mother of one on it as a collaborator.
This is coming after two of her songs as a lead artiste reached number one. Cardi B scored her first number one hit song with “Bodak Yellow” and followed that with “I Like It” from her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy”.
In reaction to the new feat of scoring three number one Billboard hits, the “Bodak Yellow” wrote:
“Why can’t they just stop making rumors, trying to make me look like I’m over and everything,” she shared in an Instagram Live. “When my time is over, y’all see when my time is over….God is saying it’s not my time. Just relax and enjoy the show.”

Interestingly, her music rival, Nicki Minaj who has continued to claim the queen of rap and even more so with her recent album, “Queen” is yet to score any Billboard number one hit, To her credit, Nicki Minaj remains the best selling female rapper of all time and also holds the record for the most entries by a female artiste on Billboard.
