Senate President Saraki spent time with Chief Edwin Clark.Sharing the news,he wrote....

'It was great spending time with foremost elder statesman Chief Edwin Clark, who is a father-figure to me'.

Saraki recently met IBB and Obasanjo which many analysts attributed to his alleged 2019 presidential ambition.

If Saraki like he should transverse the length and breadth of this world, he's going nowhere.
His desperate consultation is a sign of a man who's near retirement trying hard to correct his mess and see whether he can hang on.

In all Saraki is an overrated politician with an over bloated ego. His political influence is not beyond Kwara state at best. Even among the North Central politicians he's not within the clout of those who has a regional/geopolitical appeal or influence.

It's a different ball game to step into the main ring of elections seeking the people's vote to delegate election that involves manuervering and manipulations.

SARAKI IS GONE!

Analyzing his body language for the past few days, we see a man who is giving life a final push for survival.
Akpabio's decamping is one of the strongest blows that have destroyed the foundation he has been standing on.
Akpabio is very rich, and he is a political principality that no A list politician has summoned the courage to criticize or mock his defection.
Every senator is negotiating for 2019, there is a limit they can follow Saraki. They won't follow Saraki at the expense of their 2019 interests.
He doesn't trust the Senators in his camp again, he is now running from Minna to Abeokuta and now to Chief Clark, this move is a move of desperation and drowning man. If he is in charge, he won't make such moves within days.
Dogara is finding it difficult to decamp, because it is near impossibility for him to fly PDP in Bauchi and win his constituency, with the current sentiments on ground.
You would be surprised that many PDP Senators are negotiating with APC in secrets.
Saraki doesn't have the support of the power that be, his camp has been compromised by their 2019 selfish interests.
The INEC budget is putting him under pressure to reconvene, if not his foes are fast convincing Nigerians that he is the one on their way of progress.
With what happened to DG DSS, nobody in government would want to associate with him in secret again, he has lost a big grip.
He has lost every negotiating tool for soft landing. With or without him, the power that be can hijack the clerk to reconvene using INEC budget passage as excuse, to flush him out.
We see the end of Saraki, not just at the Senate, but also in Kwara.
He is really in a tight corner!

Shioor,

Let him contest for the presidency and not a Senator from his domain(Kwara) and let's see where he would be post-2019. I can bet it, Saraki will become a thing of the past. He thinks hes popular...................... time will tell.

Saraki has been mentioned... they are coming fast..

Sometimes you wonder, why the hate for saraki from some certain known elements?

I think majority of Nigerians still have this slavery mentality, because saraki went out of line to push his ambition, he is being castigated.. for crying out loud, he as human and the man you projected.

We all go for job interviews hoping to be picked over the next, you could aswell go home asking the job be given to the older guy in front of you..

No bro his consultations are not for the mere Senate President seat. You can impeach him once you have the numbers.

Saraki is making inroads for something bigger. If you know, you know. wink

I am not also alluding that his consultation is for the retainership of his Senate president seat.
Try hard to understand someone's write up before you quote him out of context.

There is one thing I have learnt about this life when it comes to popularity ....the more you talk about someone either negatively or positively you are directly or indirectly making him popular and the individual(s) who are doing the talking are definitely contributing to that persons popularity base.

As we know popularity is a major factor in politics.

He is already a national figure. The Senate president and the no 3 man in the power hierarchy. A position Tinubu is yet to attain

Saraki will not be president. Even PDP financiers will not allow him to represent their interest on the ballot because of his betrayal tendencies. Besides saraki does not have the spread appeal.

Saraki has travelled more distance than the Hobble Telescope to save his hyde since Oshiomole made his intentions clear. grin

First, Oshiomole attitude no get joy, even him face sef no get joy. Saraki knows this, unlike the pliable Oyegun. Had Oyegun been the head, Saraki would have been having a BBQ party every other night, but given Oshiobaba, he's been running helter skelter, like a gazzel that just spotted a chittah. grin

You go run until those thin legs cave in. The earlier you realised your time is up, the better for you. Forget all the e-noise these little nothings make here. Dem no reash! ! grin

When Edwin Clerk wrote an open letter to Saraki last week, they cursed the man right down to his forefathers. They said he's a disillusioned old man with no political weight whatsoever. They even lumped the entire region and cursed them.

Today, Saraki has visited, scared over the letter, and they've started kissing Clerk's beautiful toe nails. grin grin

PDP supporters, how do you people do these things? grin grin

Your meaningless rant depicts you as a person who is at war with common sense.

If Saraki is desperate, what would you call Buhari? An old and miserable man who sought the presidency three good times and failed, and eventually sought power again and got it in his 70s, and now want another term to rule into his 80s even though he is clearly senile and has nothing to offer.
