Like Oshiomhole, Edo State APC suspends Governor Obaseki, deputy, SSG over alleged anti-party activities

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Edo State have suspended the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, his deputy governor, Philip Shuaibu and the Secretary to the state Government, Osarodion Ogie for alleged anti party activities.

The suspension comes as the crisis in rocking the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress gets messier by the day.

Recall Oshomole wrestled power with Anothoy Anenih (the past Godfather of Edo State). I. Those days he (Oshomole) fought against Godfatherism, saying that one Man (Anenih) can not hold Edo people to hostage. He succeeded by becoming the first governor of Edo sate without Anenih’s blessing. With the people’s support, He vehemently fought Anenih and took control of Edo State. Oshomole have tasted power and it has entered his head and now playing Godfather of Edo State who wants to control and influence every thing happening in Edo State (just like the Man Anenih he fought against), therefore undermining the current Governor (Obaseki). Obaseki is now fighting his Godfather..hehe. If Obaseki succeeds and finishes his tenure, most likely he (Obaseki) will want to be the one to appoint his successor while retaining his influence and control of how things will be run in the state. Then u will see same power tussle between Obaseki and Oshomole, play out again between Obaseki and his successor. Power is a bitch! Hehe
