Gianluca Di Marzio reporting today that Inter may have slipped behind Roma in the pecking order to sign Bordeaux’s Brazilian winger, Malcom.

The Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert suggests that with the imminent sales of both Allison and Gerson on the horizon for Roma, they are ready to get a deal done to brig Malcolm to Serie A and the Italian capital. Everton remain ahead at the moment but Roma’s sporting director, Monchi, is trying to make up some lost ground on the player that he actually tried to sign last summer.

As things stand, Di Marzio reports that Inter remain on stand-by. They seem to have shifted their focus now to a full backs although the players’ wishes will be a deciding factor in any transfer. During this summer, the Brazilian has always expressed his desire to move to Italy with Inter and a move to the San Siro in particular.
