Stefano Sensi is expected to make a return to the Inter starting line-up for the first time since the beginning of October for this evening’s match at home to Atalanta according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Italian midfielder is now set to return to the starting XI having overcome the thigh injury that caused him to miss several matches in recent months.

It had looked like he was going to be in the starting line-up to take on Napoli on Monday night but had to settle for making a substitute appearance instead.

Sensi will be in the midfield alongside Marcelo Brozovic and one of Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino, the report goes on to add.

Sensi arrived at Inter this past Summer from Sassuolo in a loan with option to buy deal and has made 12 appearances across all competitions since. In 683 minutes on the field, he has scored three goals and provided four assists.
