Inter have been linked with Bordeaux’s Brazilian winger Malcom, for the most part of this summer transfer window. The Brazilian impressed last season in Ligue 1 and has not escaped the attentions of Europes top  clubs this summer.

Until recently it was thought that English Premier League side Everton were leading the race to sign the 21 year old but according to FCInterNews.it the former Corinthians player has rejected a move to the North West of England in favour of a move to Italy.

FCInterNews.it go on to say that talk coming out of both France and England seem to suggest that Everton were ready to close a deal to bring the winger to England but the player rejected the move and a high salary. His first choice remains Inter however the clubs offer remains much less lucrative to the French side than that of Everton.

The new team to enter the race are Inter’s Serie A rivals, Roma. With the €70 million sale of Allison to Liverpool imminent, the Serie A side are ready to make a move and capitalise on a stalled situation. This gives Inter more than enough cause for concern as Malcom is also thought to be welcome to a move to Roma. As both teams now enter the race to sign Malcom, the players’ wishes will become more crucial as to where his final destination ends up being this summer.
