JUST MARRIED! Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal tie the knot

It's official! Designer Natasha Dalal is now the choti bahu in the Dhawan household, wedded to actor Varun Dhawan. The young star, adored by millions of girls, tied the knot with his girlfriend of several years today at a private villa, The Mansion House, in Alibaug, in the presence of close family and friends. With just about a hundred guests in attendance, the venue was done up keeping the couple's taste in mind.Varun and Natasha, who stepped out of their wedding venue to meet the waiting members of the press, were colour-coordinated in white outfits and teekas on their forehead. The bride opted for a white chooda and white kaleeras, something that remains unique to her.

Varun and Natasha were to be wedded last year after a discreet roka ceremony in the beginning of 2020. The pandemic threw their plans off gear, temporarily. As soon as things began to look up, the couple and their families decided to have the wedding rituals at the earliest possible. With family, friends like Karan Johar, Kunal Kohli and Manish Malhotra in attendance, the couple circled the holy fire, exchanged vows in an elaborate Hindu-Punjabi ceremony.
A few hours ago, Bombay Times had told you that the wedding rituals began close to 6 pm and went on for a few hours. Those present in the vicinity of the venue could hear songs like Badri ki dulhania and Tainu leke main jaawanga from a distance. The mantra chanting and the song, Din shagana da, were also audible as the marriage rituals got underway. The guest were treated to an elaborate fare from Lebanese, Indian and Mexican cuisines. It's learned that the bride created her own outfit for the big day while the groom opted for friend Kunal Rawal's creation.
