Actor Vinny Vella dies aged 72 after liver cancer battle

Actor Vinny Vella, who is widely known for starring in Sopranos and Casino, has died aged 72 after battling liver cancer.

Vella's rep posted a message late Wednesday night, saying:

We are saddened to report that Vinny Vella has passed and I'm sure that no one is more saddened than himself. Vinny loved life from his family to his friends and fans he was easily one of the funniest, endearing actors to have ever graced the screen

Vinny's son, Vinny Vella Jr. confirmed his cause of death is liver cancer.

Actor Vinny Vella dies aged 72 after liver cancer battle

He was best known for playing Italian gangster characters. His acting credits include appearances in Find Me Guilty, In the Cut and Law and Order.

Greatest show ever ..I don't know which is better the wire or the sopranos . No other show comes close to these two . Closest is breaking bad. Don't even come at me with game of thrones .
