Former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli discussed the title race between Juventus, Inter and Napoli in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Naples based newspaper il Roma.

“Juve are always the team to beat. Before playing against Inter they won five games and drew one, not playing very well. Then they had an extraordinary match against the Nerazzurri, and they deserved it.”

“So, they’re the team to beat. Inter have strengthened considerably and I think their defence is among the strongest in the world. They have a strong midfield and in attack they can improve, because Lautaro and Lukaku are good forwards, but they have to score more.”

“Since Napoli are in trouble, maybe Inter have overcome them, something that hasn’t happened against Juve, however. If at the beginning of the season we put Juve, Napoli and Inter in order, today we have to invert second and third place, because the Azzurri aren’t going through a good time, they’re not very high in the league table, they have trouble scoring and there’s too much controversy.”
