Thinking of getting the Uwell Nunchaku-RBA?

Hi everyone, I haven't bought a mod in a long time but went to my local vape shop, and saw the Uwell Nunchaku tube mod and tank.

I have wanted a regulated tube mod for a long time, so this seems to fit the bill. Only problem is the tank using standard coils. I much prefer being able to rebuild to save money in the long run.

I know I could simply use a different tank, but if I buy something new, I do want to try it.

Also, what is the quality like?

Does anyone know of a RBA that fits the Nunchaku tank? If not, I will just get the kit and some coils, as I will use it in rotation they will last a long time anyway.

Thanks, Conan.

We have a Nunchaku in blue and can only say good things about it. My missus uses it and loves its looks. The build quality of the tank and mod is very high. My missus didn't like the experience with the 0.4 ohm coil and much prefers the 0.25.

Don't think they do an RBA head for it. Pretty sure theyr'e not planning one either.

I really love the look of it, but also another mod- the Vandy vape Pulse Squonker, the regulated version.

I don't own a squonker, or a mod that can use a 20700, so that is another option. I really liked that in the shop, and for once it was cheaper in there than online.

I'l grab the Nunchaku off gear best, and get the pulse from my local brick and mortar. Not sure which 20700 to get, might just use the 18650 adapter but the longer runtime of the 20700 is tempting.

Great bit of kit, had mine for month now and only changed the coil on Monday for the first time. Not great on battery life but the flavour and pocket fit for me more than make up for it, not used my duel battery mods since I got this

I reckon the .25 coils are the better option too

I only bought the tank but I love it.
The 0.25 coils are fab. The 0.4 ones spit too much for me.
After 8 days of fully sweetened juices this was the coil

If you haven't pulled the trigger on the nunchaku yet, check out the Ijoy Saber mate as well :)

@Sam DripDrop Vapour , I'm guessing that wire was the coil? I wonder why they attached a second piece of wire halfway along the length, instead of running two wires normally in parallel?

So, if you can get the coils apart like this- things seem good for rebuilding? I remember when I first started lots of people rebuilt throw away coils, they were pretty simply, some even easier than some RBA's. Uwell Rafale I am looking at you.

@rawhead, you saucy bugger :D . Thats tempted me more than the Uwell, I want some mods that use 20700's as tomorrow I am getting my first (Vandy vape pulse regulated).

Do you know if it is much bigger than the Uwell? I really want a mod that is the size of a solid mech, but regulated. The Uwell nunchaku fitted this.

Can I possibly get a RBA for the diamond tank that comes with the Sabre? I only ask as all my tanks that I have bought that have no RBA, or a crap one available, sit unused in a drawer. It's a shame as some of them were nice, but not as nice as a rebuildable for me to pay for the coils lol.
If not, I will fit a nice RTA on it.

I am buying the squonker first though tomorrow, the sabre will have to wait until next payday.

Dimensions are pretty close, the Saber is a smidge larger :

Saber 100 MOD
Size: 97m x 29mm

Diamond Subohm Tank
Size 56.5mm x 25mm

Nunchaku Mod
Size 94.5mm x 27.4mm

Nunchaku Tank
Size 49.6mm x 25.2mm

Nothing on an RBA deck for it yet. Therein also lies the rub - there's no TPD version of the Diamond tank for the Saber available/announced yet (it's 5.5ml with the bubble tank, 4ml with the straight glass).
