I don’t know where Davy Crockett would go today since hell has come to Texas, and let me show evidence of that by actions of 4 horse people of the atmsospheric apocalypse they are pushing. ( I need to use that since one of the examples is not a man). Texas has become a pawn, a tool in the weaponization of weather in the climate war ( good title for a book eh) and an agenda that seeks to use any weather event as a means to an end that would limit the very ideals that got this nation to where it was the envy of the world.
Amazing, Texas, the place people went to get away from entrapments of where they were, now ensnared in it. And the weather brought it front and center
So lets look at this from Breitbart our first example, none other than AOC. I have to request you read the blog otherwise this would grow to long
Question: Where was AOC 5 days before this? Was she out there saying Texas is headed for a climate caused disaster. I am sure she was where her cohorts were, gleefully taking part in the impeachment circus that was going on. But never let a crisis go to waste, and of course express outrage in an effort to push your point after the fact. And so this is yet another weaponization vehicle, by someone, who seems to know precious little about actual weather events. Believe me there are plenty of people not in the field that do know things about the weather. But when I hear what AOC says about weather events, she does not show any sign of being one of them.
Number 2 ( in no particular order) Senator Chuck Schumer

“The bottom line is, Texas thought it could go it alone and built a system that ignored climate change,”
“It was not what’s called resilient (the grid), and now Texas is paying the price,” Schumer said.
“I hope they learned a lesson,” he added.
I have no words for this. The again this is someone who threatened the supreme court. Right off the bat, the 2 back to back worst Winter and Hurricane events in Texas history WHICH IS WHAT I WAS USING AS A COMPARISON BEFORE HAND TO TRY TO GET PEOPLE TO WAKE UP, the 1899 arctic attack and the 1900 Galveston hurricane, occurred in back to back years. How did that happen if climate change is responsible now when it was right there, and I brought up, and event that happened over 100 years ago. The senator is likely unaware of that, and if he is, why would he say this event is climate change when there was one over 100 years that exemplified the worst of what can happen in Texas naturally occurred. It is to weaponize the weather in a phony climate war to push an agenda. But below is what really caused me to get rattled (statements like that are predictable, more so than the weather, believe me) but this kind of Monday morning back door quarterbacking is over the top to me.
“When I wrote the [Hurricane] Sandy bill, $60 billion for New York, we made sure everything was resilient,” he said. “When they built back the subways, built back this, built back that, they were going to be resistant to climate changes, and we have to do that.”
YOU WROTE THE BILL AFTER THE EVENT, NOT BEFORE. In addition as I have shown, Sandy is not even the worst case scenario that can occur naturally. Finally MY COMPANY HAD FORECASTS OUT ON THIS MATTER FROM OCTOBER 21, WHEN SANDY WAS JUST A TROPICAL WAVE. Why? Because I had the maps from Hurricane Hazel IN 1954 and saw a similar pattern with track further east looping into the coast was going to occur.
This is what Sean Hannity said, since he had me on the air way in advance warning people:
Joe Bastardi and the WeatherBELL team warned us about Hurricane Sandy nine days before landfall. They provided unwavering forecasts for a landfalling hurricane around NYC, and we were the first to know that this unprecedented event would occur.–
So where was Senator Schumer in an effort to prepare his state for this major “climate change” event. And why wasn’t he pushing a Sandy Bill a decade before after Isabel revealed what could happen ( again,naturally) I got no call from him. Was he even paying attention? He does so after when he can take cheap shots at Texas. So Monday morning quarterbacking on this assumes no one will look at your record on your states biggest disaster, which by the way is well within the realm of nature. I wrote that paper on this matter in 2003 after Isabel, on how ports further north would be devasted with a storm like that. In fact drive a cat 2 or 3 hurricane into the Delmarva and Sandys damage could be doubled, putting the ports of Philadellphia and Wilmington underwater. BUT WHY CANT IT, AND WHY SHOULDN’T THAT HAPPEN SOMEDAY NATURALLY? Just like why can’t and why shouldn’t an 1899 outbreak return naturally? There weren’t 26 million people in the way in 1899 in Texas

Okay I can’t pull every quote out from this, so read the story. I will address a couple of things, but frankly he makes my head spin more than a Texas Wind Turbine, at least in a cold wave.
So we have 9 years, right? Interesting, assuming some form of this administration is in power for 8 years, it is convenient that its year 9 that we have until. Translation: We must stay in power for 8 years,
Snowstorms are supposed to be more frequent? Say what? Its your side that said snow was going to disappear. In addition, you obviously never took a meteorology course since snow is a great way to keep it colder. Snow breeds snow, and breeds cold because the air masses over snowcover will not warm up as fast. Translation, if he is right about more snowstorms, it means it will lead to cooling, not warming. But in his simplistic, “I voted for that bill before I voted against it” mentality’ all this makes perfect sense. What is maddening is no one in mainstream media will call him on it. Guys like me are crackpots for doing so. His statements on the weather reveal an ignorance, as so many of these people do, OF HOW EXTREME NATURE CAN BE, simply by what it has done before. So extreme, that even if co2 was adding to it you could not tell. I have chapter after chapter in my book debunking nonsense like this with actual examples
But let’s not leave out his greatest hit on climate, not in this article but from this in 2009.

At least it was 4 years then that he had an apocalyptic event forecasted, now we have 9.

I have tried desperately to keep President Joe Biden out of this, instead referencing the idea that people around him should have had his back. The reason is 2 fold. Call me naive, but I still love, respect and honor the office of the president and would respond if my president called me. The other reason is I have always wanted to serve as a consultant to the great people I see in NOAA, as someone from the private sector that can perhaps add to the mix and improve performance in the public domain. I compete against the weather and that products benefits my clients, I don’t get hung up on what the other guy is saying. But think about it. We would continue to put out our own ideas out, but why shouldn’t we try to help behind the scenes. I am hoping our advance notice to Texas gets at least Texas interested in this idea. That is not a threat or to detract from what the NWS does, I could never do their job. I do know and talk to a lot of great people there and see this as a potential benefit. Its not like I am some young guy trying to step on people coming up thru the ranks. So the climate issue be dammed, hit the forecast and prepare people. You need a team of rivals, true rivals, to have the best idea come forward. I know this has a snowballs chance in the aforementioned title, but quitting when things even looked hopeless is something I never did if I believe in what I am doing, But I got pushed over the edge when I saw that only 77 counties in Texas were declared disaster areas. How do disasters stop at county lines? So now it’s a double whammy, No pre storm prep as I was loudly advocating from the Wednesday before, a federal response similar to pre-positioning for a cat 5 hurricane, winter style. The declaration BEFORE THE FACT, as even the much maligned president Bush did before Katrina, that this was a federal emergency, and now including all the counties the governor recommends since disasters like this as I said above DON’T STOP AT COUNTY BORDERS. But there is no excuse for this now. It is like a state with 26 million people and 10% of the US economy is being ignored, or worse.
Say what you want about president Obama, but in a pre election situation when he was focused on maintaining office, look how he reacted. This is from Michael Bloomberg:
“President Obama asked Craig Fugate from FEMA to call me earlier in the day and offer any help. I assured him that we had, we think, everything under control but we appreciate the effort. What FEMA really can do is to help those parts of the country that don’t have all of the extensive facilities and agencies and practice that New York City does. But I did want to thank them for their offer.”
Do you realize what is going on here? Mayor Bloomberg WAS DOWNPLAYING an event that was already on president Obamas radar. He knew he had NY won. He didn’t need the votes. But he was pro-active despite someone who thought at the time he could handle it. So there is Texas, declaring their statewide emergency before the event and no discernable response. The Joe Biden disaster declaration was 3 days ago, but only for 77 counties.
You could never have stopped this, but you could have mitigated it with proper leadership and preparation that a forecast for the magnitude was touting (using 1899, cat 5 hurricane, worst 5 days in Texas weather history were about as extreme as you can get). I was going to keep quiet about President Biden but the federal government is a safety net. The net had holes in it before during and after this. President Obama was obviously hands on. President Trump was always out in front (in the case of Dorian, over stating the threat for Alabama in a way I did criticize) President Bush, for all the demonization of him, had things moving with that disaster declaration before Katrina. But this is far far short of what they did.
I will end with the same thing I was yelling 2 weeks ago before all this, THIS IS THE WINTER VERSION OF A CAT 5 HURRICANE HIT ON TEXAS. The response should have been and should be as if that was the case. As far as the other people involved, their words and deeds speak loudly about what is really going on. Its about the Weaponization of Weather in the Phony Climate War. Yes sounds like a book promotion, but they are actually turning into the best example of it.
