On Friday, President Donald Trump took to his Twitter handle, @realDonaldTrump, to ask what Nike was thinking when it put out its new advertising material headlined by athlete, Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick, who is a free agent National Football League player in the US, first started kneeling on the pitch when the American national anthem was being played as a way to protest the killings of Blacks.

He has been heavily criticised by Trump, who also called on the league to sanction players, who take such a stance.
