Roadtrips are a must in the summertime -I love just tossing a few essentials in the car and hitting the road!

We set off in our Lincoln MKC which was the perfect size to hold all our goodies and get us safely around on the highways. It was such an amazing, smooth ride, and with air conditioned seats (such a treat!) and a great sound system, we had so much fun cruising to our destination.

We stayed at the most magical place, Rowena's Inn On The River -It is the most breathtaking location~ The English Manor is secluded on an 160 acre waterfront estate, offering an amazing pool with a view of the river - Seriously felt like walking into a fairytale! It is also only 1.5 hours from Vancouver, so it is the best getaway detsination.

We also adventured into the beautiful corn fields & stopped at Cultus lake for a much needed swim & boat ride.

It was the perfect quick getaway from the city.
