Deepika Padukone shares that Ranveer Singh was already dating someone else when he stated flirting with her

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become the talk of the town ever since the DeepVeer wedding took place on November 14 and November 15. The wedding, a much-awaited one, which took place in Lake Como, Italy, was a dreamy affair with Deepika looking pretty in pink and red at her Sindhi wedding ceremony and Ranveer being his usual energetic and enthusiastic self!

Now, as per recent reports doing the rounds, Ranveer was on cloud 9 after Deepika accepted his marriage proposal, exactly 3 years after he decided that she is the girl whose finger he wants to put a ring on to. And it looks like the sexy lad always had the hots for the Nation’s queen Deepika Padukone, as the actress herself revealed in an interview to Pinkvilla.

During a media interaction, she recalled their first meeting saying, "I was at Yash Raj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, ‘You are flirting with me.’"

It isn’t very hard to guess who Ranveer would have been dating then, and that the two would end up becoming ‘The Thing’ considering they would then be signed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela’ and later complete the 3-film-deal with ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

Coming to their equation with SLB, Deepika also talked about a meeting they can never forget. “Sir called us over for lunch and we were eating and apparently there was a piece of crab stuck in my tooth and he wanted to make me awkward and he said, ‘oh there’s a crab stuck in your mouth’ and I said, ‘Then take it out’. That moment all three of us won’t forget,” she told the portal.
