Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, the Fortnite streamer and Twitch’s most-followed personality, will provide guest commentary for tonght’s Thursday Night Football as Twitch wraps up its slate of 11 NFL broadcasts.

Blevins’ appearance touts Twitch’s “co-streaming” capability, which allows streamers to add their original live commentary to broadcasts they stream to their own communities. He will be joined by fellow streamers Jericho, TimTheTatman and GoldGlove in serenading the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs, division rivals who both have a shot at home-field advantage in the upcoming NFL playoffs.

Twitch has been part of the smorgasbord of Thursday night NFL broadcasters since Sept. 27, along with parent Amazon’s Prime Video, Fox Sports, and the NFL Network itself. For its broadcasts, Twitch has chipped in interactive extensions that show real-time statistics, allow fans to make predictions, and do other stuff.

In a statement, Blevins called himself a lifelong NFL fan and said he looked forward to co-streaming the game to his community, which numbers more than 12 million. A news release from Twitch also noted that Blevins appeared on the cover of ESPN the Magazine’s September edition, the first competitive gamer to do so.

Blevins most recently appeared on Dec. 4’s The Game Awards, where he took home hardware for “Content Creator of the Year.” He also appeared with the Muppets’ malapropism-spewing Pepe the King Prawn in a comedy bit before presenting an award.
