Fox News loses 40% of its viewers (forty!)- The Exodus shows this was not a normal election

Use the tale of the Fox Exodus to tell the world, this was not “just another election”

The crash in Fox news ratings reveals the turmoil going on among the non-Left. Even people who aren’t political junkies can understand there is something seismic about a shift this big. It’s a good opener for those conversations with people who don’t realize how the political landscape just changed. It’s a simple point that shows something fishy and deep is going on.

Old habits die hard. For twenty years, and many elections, Fox was the dominant single news site for most of conservative America. Ratings drops of a few percent shake advertisers. This was a seismic fall.  Nearly half of a loyal audience switched off and went searching for something. Fox news didn’t just bore people, it actively drove them away. Right now, the Right side of the most successful democracy on Earth is hunting for a voice. That’s a lot of people looking and it started on November 4.

The number one cable channel for the last twenty years, is suddenly number three.

Fox News used to outrate both CNN and MSNBC put together. But in the last two weeks Fox has fallen so far, both of these legacy news groups separately beat Fox. It’s not that millions have headed over to the legacy media, but that millions have abandoned Fox for the small news networks few people had heard of two months ago.

The President’s Lawyer couldn’t even get a space:

Joe Kovacs, WND News:  [Rudy] Giuliani said the national news networks would no longer book him for on-air appearances because he mentions illegal activity which purportedly swayed the election to Joe Biden.

“I can’t get on — I can’t get on ABC, NBC, CBS, can’t even get on Fox anymore. If I say the word ‘fraud,’ I’m thrown off the network,” he told former Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Newsmax TV.

“I’m sorry, there was fraud. I’m telling the truth and they’re lying. And not only are they lying, they’re practicing a level of censorship that is so un-American that it’s frightening….

“If they didn’t cheat,” Giuliani wondered aloud, “why won’t they let us examine the [voting] machines?” …

“You know, this has been since somewhere in October of this year, it’s been the strangest experience of my life,” he explained. “It’s like I’ve been living in the Iron Curtain. I’m living in a country with the kind of censorship that I remember as a young child in East Germany, the Soviet Union.”

Maybe this has something to do with the exodus?

Don’t believe your lying eyes. On other sites, the audience could see graphs of bizarre vertical steps in vote counting, and the videos of Counting-observers who were locked out and postal workers who were ordered to backdate the sacred date stamp. They saw suitcases of votes wheeled out from under tables in the dead of night on the CCTV. And they wanted to talk about that.

The Fox News political editor who sat on the Election Night Decision Desk has been sacked along with 20 Fox News as Network Ratings Crater.

Christina Laila, Gateway Pundit

Here’s what happened guys, let’s be honest with you, I can talk about this, Donald Trump on November 3rd — Fox declared Biden the winner in Arizona. MAGA-world went ballistic, they said ‘I’m not watching Fox News,’ they switched over and they looked and they found Newsmax,” former Fox News host Eric Bolling said.

“Fox lost about 40% of their audience. 40 percent. That’s a big number,” Bolling continued, a statement that sparked roaring applause from the audience of young conservatives.

“I have friends still there that say they are very, very nervous about it, they’re sucking wind on it and they don’t know how to turn it around,” Bolling said

Web searches show where the missing Fox viewers went.

In July 2020, few people were doing web searches for Newsmax, Gateway Pundit or One America News (OANN). Fox News dominated the conservative media space. Newsmax, Gateway Pundit and One America News were dwarfed. These are “website” visits, not viewer ratings:

By December things were very different.

Fox News Ratings Dec 2020 compared to Newsmax and OANN and CNN

From The Daily Wire:

According to ratings data, CNN “topped cable networks” with roughly 2.8 million viewers per day between January 4th and January 10th, with 4.2 million viewers in primetime. During that same time period, MSNBC had approximately 2.3 million viewers per day and 3.8 million in prime time. Fox News, however, had just 1.7 million per day and 3.2 million in primetime. Yahoo Finance reported that “Newsmax, a smaller rival that has been promoted by President Trump, said it saw record ratings in primetime of 443,000 for the week. Its total day ratings averaged 294,000.”

Describing the “ratings battles” facing Fox News, Vanity Fair wrote “the cable juggernaut’s programming shake-up, with a rotating cast of opinion hosts replacing Martha MacCallum at 7 p.m., comes as viewers are flocking to CNN and MSNBC following the Capitol insurrection and as Newsmax and OAN chip away from the right.”

Since the beginning of the century, Fox News has “consistently been the most-watched, and arguably the most influential, cable news outlet — by a mile,” according to Mediaite, with viewers becoming accustomed “to lengthy stretches in which the total combined viewership of CNN and MSNBC was less than the number of people tuning into Fox News.”

Do you actually need a Fox subscription for “Outsiders” ??
I get it on free to air Sky News, ch 83 together with Paul Murry, Bolt, (?? He has turned ?) Dean, Jones, etc etc…
It seem to be one of the last channels for “open” news coverage and discussion.

If you are ‘remote and central’ you can’t get free Sky TV at all (discrimination!) but you can get the podcast of Outsiders on the Sky website. I watch other Sky programs when travelling and it is a breath of fresh air! However, don’t want a Foxtel subscription at all, so will just have to make do.

Dave Rubin’s Locals is an online subscription network I’ve just joined, and I’m enjoying his attitude to everything that is going on. He is a wonderful interviewer as well, and cooks the odd stunning steak too…

Would any news channel s want to talk about something that never happened? Slice it and dice it, spin it as much as you like the evidence is not there, never has been there and never will be there. Do you seriously believe that 86 judges both Republican and Democrat appointed, in God knows how many courts up and down the country conspired to reject Trump’s lawsuits?

Did you know Judge Brann of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania formally cancelied an evidentiary hearing because Giuliani admitted in court it was is not a fraud case,'” The judge said he saw no need to hold a hearing on fraud evidence when Giuliani said that the case didn’t actually involve fraud allegations. How ridiculous is Giuliani?

Why didn’t Trump get an eminent retired judge to examine the evidence and advise as to whether it was valid or not? The obvious answer is because there was no evidence.

Election officials from both sides of politics and in all 50 states have stated there was no fraud in their electorate. William Barr the Republican former Attorney-General at the time of the election has stated there was no evidence of fraud.

Christopher Krebs, a longtime Republican and former head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, who was fired by Trump for releasing a statement saying the 2020 presidential election was the “most secure in American history,” with no evidence votes were deleted, lost, changed or “in any way compromised.”

In a TV interview on January 20th Krebs said that in order for the country to move forward, it’s “critical” that elected officials, including the president, who spread the “big lie” that preceded the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill, are held accountable.

The fired ex-director of the Department of Homeland Security’s cybersecurity agency expressed concern for the lasting impacts of the disinformation spread by the outgoing president and called for consequences following the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Krebs said that in order for the country to move forward, it’s “critical” that elected officials, including the president, who spread the “big lie” that preceded the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill, are held accountable.

“We really [have been] at an inflection point in democracy for far too long,” he told “Nightline” host Juju Chang. “These massive disinformation campaigns that are demonstrably false and have been disproven and debunked over and over and over again, and yet, they’re still propagated by elected officials. They’re still propagated online and [on] fringe media and fringe networks. There has to be consequences for what, ultimately, is the ‘big lie’ that led to Jan. 6.”

Vlad, Duck Duck Go is a good search engine and you are able click on the little flame emblem and all your searches are obliterated, if you are concerned about some troll finding out what sites you have been looking at. You will be surprised at the difference. Google results are shaped to suit a certain Leftist political agenda, DDG results are not.

Remember, Google is for Leftists as they need to be told what to think and can’t tolerate alternate opinions. DDG is for free thinkers.

      reply to hyperventilating Vlad:
Write your own home page, a local html file that is a set of tables holding your commonly used links, get a simple html editor like kompozer and learn how to use it. I’ll send you a copy of my home page if you like. Written in HTML version 2 a few years before Google existed. Or Google/Duckduckgo “how to create a simple home page in html”.
Get Firefox, Waterfox etc to export all your favourites to an html file and save that as a local file. If Firefox outlaws local files, there are a few Mozilla clones that can take over the task. Brave will allow a local home page. The idiots who wrote M$ Edge decided it was unsafe to have a local file as a home page, but any rubbish off the internet is safer. There is a way of fixing Edge, but you can’t fix stupid …

Once upon a time newspaper’s employed reporters to report news, and those professionals competed to be first with headlines and content printed and on sale.

Now we have journalists from left leaning schools of journalism who accept spin and media releases written ready for them to copy and hand in to their editors.

Australian politicians in government, cabinet members, had on personal staff a press secretary until in NSW Premier Wran (Labor) created a taxpayer funded media unit of spin doctors, marketing people, psychologists and other trained manipulations, the true deceivers, to monitor the media and manage the media for the politicians. The cost to taxpayers increased markedly. Prime Minister Hawke (Labor) adopted the media management department system for Federal Government.

In a blog post courtesy of the International Monetary Fund, IMF researchers Arnoud Boot, Peter Hoffmann, Luc Laeven, and Lev Ratnovski called for internet search history to be tied to credit score.

Presenting their findings from a paper they wrote, the researchers argue that by using non-financial data, specifically “the history of online searches and purchases,” we can solve the problem of “certain kinds of people not having enough hard data (income, employment time, assets and debts) available.”

The authors of the piece claim that this move is a necessary innovation in order to compete with the rise of corporate cryptocurrencies such as the one in development by Facebook, who hope to launch next year. While Facebook is a monopoly that has engaged in political censorship, their power pales in comparison to that of the IMF . The International Monetary Fund is a veritable superpower with ties to the World Bank, and they oversee the entire global economy.

It should go without saying that giving this organization the power to track everyone’s search history can lead to some dark ramifications. With private banks, notably JPMorgan and Chase Bank, already kicking conservatives off of their services, one can only imagine how much this would escalate with the IMF tracking everyone’s search history. While there has been bipartisan opposition to the Chinese Social Credit system in Congress, the distinctions between that system and what the IMF is pushing for remains ill-defined.

The IMF, including some of the writers of the blog post, have ties to both the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset Initiative and the Joe Biden Transition Team. Two of the researchers advocating for the IMF tracing our search history, Luc Laeven and Lev Ratnovski, have pages on the WEF’s website. Lev Ratnovski, in particular, has defended bank bailouts so the economy can stay afloat.

The question no one has asked is how would the IMF have access to the browser on *your* device.Thats creepy.

To do so would require you having no ownership of your own phone.

If Donald Trump can start a new news network, and doesn’t have to rely on Leftist owned cable TV distribution infrastructure such as Comcast or server farms like from Amazon, it could be financially viable. Plus he could use it as a platform to promote a new political party and a 2024 presidential run.

For anyone, other than the Democrats, to get anywhere in 2022 or 2024 they have to have a team of hackers who can get into the voting and tabulating machines to make sure they are legit and if not reverse the manipulated software , in real time. Otherwise it will be a repeat of what they have had twice in recent months.

In the spirit of the finest in Leftist tolerance some students are trying to get Harvard U. to rescind the degrees of supporters and staff of President Trump.

FoxNews has certainly lost this “little black duck”.
    Other internet sources for me…

FTA commentary (previously known as “news”) including ABC/SBS has become impossible to watch in Australia.

I still watch a lot of Fox but only Tucker Carlson, Hannity and Laura Ingram. I think Chris Wallace and his disgraceful mediation of the first debate I think helped start the exodus. If they are serious about getting its viewers back sacking Wallace is a good start. His anti Trump commentary has impacted on the whole network and if I was one of the other presenters I’d be pretty pissed off with him.

“The Australian” was about the only last serious newspaper we had in this country and I have watched it plummet recently after a long taper. And the irony is that it had defied the trend here of print media where they were all slowly going backwards. So media assets are no longer run to make money, they are made to conform to the world views of the management? It had to end in tears.

Yes, Fox is at last getting its mojo back after falling into line about not mentioning the electoral fraud that was blatant, and on an industrial scale. Ditto the Australian.
Must admit I had also turned off in abject disappointment, but am starting to see some life and spark back in Hennity, Carlson, and Laura Ingraham at last.
There must be a golden opportunity for some good old investigative journalism, possibly from Project Veritas
that can blow this wide open.
Question why the Winners, The Dems and Biden in particular left no stone unturned in preventing any investigation to the 1000s of sworn affidavits, let alone the video evidence of scrutineers being ejected and not allowed to oversight the count.
No, all is not well in the Leader of the Free World and it needs to have the scab pulled off.

Totally agree Murray Shaw. There’s twenty months left on the clock as regards the non-destruction of the original ballots. Getting court orders to allow their examination likely takes a few years beyond that… The brazenness with which the Georgia runoffs deployed the same tools underlined the futility of opposition to the implacable Trump ouster. Like Candide we should retire to our gardens for a while and ponder the imbecility just witnessed.

Murray; everything has been blown wide open. But inside, there is only fog and darkness, or, as they said in the Third Reich: “Nacht und Nebel”.

Nobody will see anything when ordered not to look. I wonder if the Biden regime will introduce a kind of personal oath to be taken by every US citizen, or else…mask, vaccine, oath; bound and gagged.

After 9/11, when the US Capitol was attacked, there was fear in America.

Now, without such an attack, there is now fear of the Capitol rising throughout America because there is no such savage destruction there to celebrate: liberation day cannot come soon enough.

The media often seem to fall into the trap of believing that because they supply information about what’s going on in the world, they can simply report what they wish was true and suddenly it will be so. If a car maker makes a crap-mobile, the sales are rubbish, they get the message and make a better car. But when ‘big media’ tank, they often seem to simply tell themselves how wonderful they are and then believe it!

Journalists are notoriously lousy at business too.

talkRadio UK used their recent YouTube shutdown as a glorified marketing tool the moment they were reinstated but it is noticeable that their use of outliers in commentary on SARS-CoV-2 has since reduced in favour of those who are less likely to conflict with ‘Government Think’ the rules of which are repeated at every opportunity. They were also anti-Trump from the start. Is their subtle shift about the virus a sign that they are not really fighters at all?

I watched Keri Smith explain her escape from ‘the woke culture’ in a recent Triggernometry interview and it is worth the hour or so watching time. It is a vivid account of how wokedom destroys people.

A new crop of Texas-led lawsuits awaits Joe Biden’s White House

Texas is almost certain to fight him every step of the way.

The state is about to be back on the front lines battling against the federal government, a long tradition for its Republican leaders, from former Gov. Rick Perry to Gov. Greg Abbott — who as the state’s attorney general famously said, “I go into the office, I sue the federal government and I go home.”

The real boss in the news room is Chris Wallace. You know the one that did his best to take out Trump in the debate (and probably the one who told Megan Kelly to try and take out Trump 5 years ago.)

Yesterday, just in passing as I was going out a door mind you, I heard Wallace saying how Biden is the right man to tackle all these crisis like the “climate crisis.” I was already feeling ill before that bit of bile.

This is the MO of the Democrats; create a crisis or claim that the normal is a crisis, and then say they are the ones to solve it if you just give them absolute power and lots of money. We still have all these supposedly bright people like Liz Cheney falling for it-or worse playing along with it. Swamp reptiles all.

The glory of Joe Biden is that an empty vessel can be filled with anyting. And it empties quickly, with very little residue. For political purposes, nothing is as fulfilling as emptiness.

It might soon be time for the return of pirate radio. Anybody can build a radio if need be or pull it out of the garage and new batteries in it. And anybody can broadcast the truth at 50,000 watts, bypassing Big Tech and their devices, and the MSM TV. Regulations and licensing be damned.

The problem is to separate what is true and what is lie. Even if i am sympathetic to Trump, i must admit he told as much truth than lie. Now i would be very pleased to find any serious research witch could listed what one can legitimely describe as truth, and debate about it with opponents. As an exemple, this time it is favorable to Trump, media reported he told people to drink toxic products to fight covid. I read carefully the press conferance transcript, and he never told that. CNN is guildty of lying.

You are right, a lot of lies has been published about Trump, just in concern of COV-19 – HCQ, Remdesivir, he spoke about both in one sentence, but only HCQ was discredited, and since then, Raoult was discredited as well. And nearly the whole medical world followed thes lies. Even the UV light therapy was wrong represented by the media, all jumped on it, presenting a well defined DTS.

Actually, using the internet with basic packets to network low power FM stations would be quite legal and require no piracy….at the moment at least.
There is always the hope that the Democrats will begin, as the Republicans have, to consume their own so virulently that most of their agenda will collapse into chaos.
I can visualize a few images that might cause pause….
    and don’t require much imagination.
30-60 thousand “immigrants’ en masse streaming across with border with authorities unable to do anything but stand aside, as the poorly
and unwillingly run detention in Mexico collapses (or is pushed).
An urban riot, like the ones we’ve seen so often….and either a Democrat run response that works out like Kent state with dead kids,
or a mob rioting through a suburban neighborhood fire bombing suburban homes…..or the destruction of an essential asset like a mass transit station.
A totally feckless response to an overseas incident, after 48 hours of ideological indecision.

I’m sure there are many others.

My instincts tell me that it won’t be the overt acts the fail the left, as bad as those are likely to be…it the the non-governance for ideological reasons that will come back to bite them. Here’s hoping the collateral damage is tolerable; we’ve already given a good whack to the economy of Alberta, Ca.

Don’t mock the Corruptocrats. After all, they “Won”.

It is foolish to think of the Media as a profit-orienhted business. Thay are a propaganda outlet. Advertising reduses tha cost but profit is mostly irrelevant. The crash in the evaluation of Fox just makes them cheaper to buy.

Cost can, and will, be reduced by eliminating staff at the margins.. They will be all reporting the same “stuff” so why pay for writers or “journalists” at every outlet? The “truth” has already been revealed. Any illiterate can “copy-paste” at a much lower wage.

In a “huge” complex business empire, the “news” is just a minor expense, a petty tax paid to “The Powers That Be”.

When the competition is culled, there will be no alternative to the “authorized” narrative. The number who actually listen/watch will be irrelevant. as long as there is no alternative distraction.

“Right now, the Right side of the most successful democracy on Earth is hunting for a voice. That’s a lot of people looking and it started on November 4.”

You nailed it! How can that happen!

We trusted FOX thinking that they were “Fair and Balanced” but they turned out to be whores like most of the other TV media. I am one of the millions who dropped FOX from my channel line up. Fortunately we have Newsmax and the Epoch Times.

The Left accused Donald Trump of working with Russia to fix the 2016 election in the absence of evidence. The Mueller zealots spent $50 million investigating a sitting president but turned up nothing.

Today we have abundant evidence of electoral fraud but our corrupt institutions refuse to investigate it. We have a president who enabled his family to become wealthy through influence peddling. If that is not illegal it should be. This “president” has sold his soul to China and other foreign powers. He will continue to sell us out…….he is a traitor who must be removed from office before he does any more harm. If you are one of those people who think Biden has nothing to hide why would you object to a bi-partizan investigation?
