Beppe Marotta will soon be officially announced as the new CEO at Inter but, in the meantime, he is already working at Inter for the future. According to Tuttosport, there are two main objectives for the summer transfer market; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Federico Chiesa.
The revenues, which in a market will have to be balanced, will depend on player sales. Antonio Candreva, Borja Valero and Miranda appear obvious choices to be sold. The most painful farewell will be that of the Brazilian, considering that he is the first reserve in the hierarchies behind Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij in defence.
Inter intends to replace Miranda with another Skriniar, that is, with a young man who can become, in time, a world-class defender without (initially) putting pressure on the player. In this sense a lot has already been done with Samp for Joachim Andersen: with Samp in fact there is already discussion of the counterparts for the deal, as evidenced by the appearance of Carlo Osti and Antonio Romei to watch the Youth League match between Inter and Barcelona
It is possible he will start with a big sale and at the moment, all clues lead to Perisic: in that case, Inter could decide to redeem Keita Balde from Monaco at a cost of €34 Million or try to sign Martial but much will depend on who will be the coach of Manchester United over the summer. There is also the remaining option for the return of Karamoh.
Inter, however at this stage, have started negotiations among young prospects to sign such as Edgar Elizalde and Ozan Kabak, revelations of this current season in Rodrigo de Paul and the ever growing in confidence Nicolo Barella.
Marotta also aims to clarify the positions of Sime Vrsaljko whose redemption will cost €17.5 Million, Marcelo Brozovic with an eye on the €60 Million release clause and, of course, Mauro Icardi where the situation will be clearer after the next renewal.
