...and the reason does make sense! Arjun Kapoor was in conversation with Karan Johar on his chat show, Koffee With Karan 6.
Other than the two famous weddings in the B-town (Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyaka Chopra-Nick Jonas), if there's something that's grabbing a lot of eyeballs, it's the alleged love affair between Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora. The rumoured couple is in the news almost everyday as the buzz around their relationship is getting stronger day-by-day. Their recent public apperances and some social media posts are only adding fuel to the fire. And now the latest episode of the popular talk show Koffee With Karan season 6 hosted by Karan Johar might have been almost successful in sealing the deal.
The 33-year old Namaste England actor appeared on the show with his cousin Janhvi Kapoor. In the course of the show he did spill some details about his personal life. When asked by Karan Johar on whether he is single or not, the Gunday actor confirmed that he's not. He said, "No, I'm not single", however he refrained from revaling the name if his lady love.
When further questioned if he's ready for marriage he said, "Yes, now I am. Earlier, I wasn't." Arjun refrained from using Malaika’s name anywhere on the show until during the rapid fire round when KJo asked him to choose between Malaika and Katrina Kaif for a super sexy song. Now, we all know, Arjun’s very close to Katrina. She even considers him her rakhi brother. While one would expect him to take Kat's name, to everyone’s surprise, the actor replied, "I guess Malaika started the trend with Chaiyya Chaiyya." What more proof can we ask for now!
The rumour mills are abuzz that the two are reportedly set to tie the knot in 2019, although they are yet to confirm their relationship status to the world. They have been tight lipped until now but Arjun’s revelation on the show raises some part of the curtain. "I never answer personal questions. Not that I shy away from answering or whatever. I just don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life. And whatever my life has been, everyone is aware of it. I don't need to be talking about it. I am just enjoying my life," Malaiak was quoted as saying by India Today in a report.
Recent reports suggest that Arjun and Malaika have bought a plush apartment near Lokhandwala complex in Mumbai, and the couple is planning to move in soon. However, there's no official confirmation on the same as yet.
